We are absolutely thrilled to announce that four of our incredible teachers have been recognized with the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA)! This prestigious honor celebrates educators who go above and beyond to drive student success and demonstrate excellence in the classroom.
Please join us in congratulating:
🌟Our 4th Grade Powerhouse Team:
Mrs. Martha Medina

Mrs. Olga Najera
🌟Our 5th Grade Standout:
Mrs. Ari Garcia
These teachers pour their hearts into their students every single day, and this recognition is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and the high standard of excellence they bring to our school.

🍎 Today, we are taking a moment to recognize the heart and soul of our campus. Happy Principal Appreciation Day to our very own, Mrs. Michelle Lopez! 🐾
Mrs. Lopez, your unwavering dedication and passion for our students' success do not go unnoticed. Whether you are cheering in the hallways, supporting our teachers, or connecting with our families, your leadership makes Bruni Elementary a brighter place to learn and grow.
A huge THANK YOU from the:
Students👧🧑 who look up to you every day 📚
Staff👩🏫👨🏫 who thrive under your guidance 🍎

🎉We were bursting with pride to see our very own Mrs. Mary Ellis receive her prestigious 2026 Golden Apple Award!
Mrs. Ellis was officially honored at the Golden Apple ceremony, and seeing her hard work recognized on that stage was a moment we won't soon forget. Whether she’s sparking a love for learning in the classroom or going the extra mile for her students, she truly embodies what it means to be an educator.
We’ve always known she was a star, and now the rest of the world does too!

From Woody's warm hugs to Jessie's adventurous spirit, let's channel our inner toys and make this week unforgettable! 🧸✨ Stay tuned for the daily lineup and let’s make our teachers feel like the stars they truly are! 🌈💖

If you have any gently used formal or semiformal dresses, Tuxedos and sports coats and ties that you would like to donate, we would be immensely grateful for your contribution. Your generosity will directly impact the lives of our students and help make their prom experience truly unforgettable.

We are so incredibly grateful for the TAMIU Staggs Academy for their generous donation of Easter baskets to our students. Seeing the joy on their faces as they received these treats was the highlight of our week.
It’s more than just candy and toys—it’s a reminder of the amazing community support that surrounds our students every day. Thank you, Staggs Academy, for making this season extra special! 🐣✨

Let’s paint a picture with our words! This week, our focus is on the word Describe.
Definition: To tell or write about something; to give a detailed account of what something looks like, sounds like, feels like, or implies.
How can we practice this week?
Students: Don't just say "It was fun." Describe what made it fun! Was it the loud music? The fast game? The funny jokes?
Parents: At dinner, ask your child to describe one specific thing they learned today using 3 adjectives.
Staff: Challenge students to use descriptive language in their answers—let's move beyond "yes" or "no"!

A huge round of applause to all the students who participated this year. From the innovative project submissions to the intense competition in the Code-a-thon, the talent on display was truly inspiring! 💻💡
None of this would be possible without the "village" behind our students. We want to send a special thank you to:
❤️ Our Parents: Thank you for the late-night support, the supplies, and the encouragement you gave your students to get their projects across the finish line.
🛠️ The Booth Setup Team: Thank you, Ms. Carias, Ms. Sonia Gutierrez, and Ms. Baca! The expo floor looked professional and amazing, thanks to your hard work.
👩🏫 Our Tech Expo Sponsors: A massive thank you to Mrs. Perez, Mrs. Garcia, and Ms. Fraga for your leadership and dedication to making this event a success year after year.
Can’t wait to see what next year brings!
