Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians, As we navigate this academic year, I want to take a moment to discuss two pillars that define our school’s success: Academic Rigor and Consistent Attendance. These aren't just administrative goals; they are the foundation upon which your student's future is built. The Connection: Attendance & Achievement There is a direct, undeniable link between being present in the classroom and achieving academic excellence. When a student misses a day, they don't just miss a lesson—they miss the collaborative discussions, the "aha!" moments, and the guided practice that makes learning stick. Our Academic Focus This year, we are challenging our students to move beyond "getting by" and toward mastery. Our curriculum is designed to foster critical thinking and resilience. To support this: Active Engagement: We encourage students to ask "why," not just "how." Support Systems: Tutoring and teacher office hours are available for those who need an extra push. Goal Setting: We ask every student to set one personal academic benchmark this term. Our Commitment to You We understand that life happens, but we view every school day as an opportunity that cannot be replicated.
