Principal's Message

Dear families of Bruni Elementary School,

As we welcome November and the start of the 3rd six weeks, this is a perfect time to express gratitude for those people and experiences that we’ve been blessed within our lives.  November also brings the opportunity to sit together with people we care about, reflect on the past and plan for the future.

As I take the time to reflect on what it takes to be principal, I realize that leadership takes passion, a clear vision, and dedication.  I am proud to say that we are doing everything we can to do what is right for every child and acting on our belief that all children can learn.

November not only gives us the time to reflect but it is also the start of the hectic holiday season that brings changes to family and school routines. This season can often be challenging but with a bit of patience and cooperative teamwork, we can help each other and provide support to our kids by sticking to as many regular routines as possible including attending school on a daily basis and arriving on time.

And finally, a little reminder that we have Daylight Saving Time coming up, where we “Fall back” on November 3, 2019, so don’t forget to set your clocks an hour behind at 2 a.m.

Remember that my door is always open and that Bruni Elementary is a Welcoming, Safe, Innovative, Supportive, and filled with Community Pride.

With warmest wishes of the season,

Michelle Y. Martinez
